We will pick your dog up from your home, whether you be in, or out. Following the walk, we will take your dog back home safe and sound, content and tired.
Group dog walks are offered for all different breeds, abilities and natures. Your dog can be walked on lead or off lead. We complete an initial consultation to ensure the commands and training you have covered is replicated with the Paws To Doors team. We are professional dog walkers who are fully insured, to give you peace of mind that your dog will be looked after in a professional and careful manner. We treat every dog like they are our own.
Your dog will need to have basic training, be sociable around humans and other dogs to enable them to join us on our fun group dog walks.
We have a specially designed dog van to ensure your hairy babies are being transported in the most suitable way. We do not allow more than one dog in one section (unless they are from the same household). We are fully insured to walk a maximum of 6 dogs per carer.
We meet with you for a no-obligation consultation to discuss exactly what your dog needs, then tailor the exercise to each dog individually. They will be given lots of love and affection as well as a good healthy walk or run. Your dog’s paws will be cleaned and his or her fur rubbed down before their return. Treats and fresh water are always at hand.
As no two dogs are the same we tailor each walk according to the size, age, temperament and ability of the dog. This results in the optimum level of exercise, fun and excitement for your pet. As well as having fun and exercise, your dogs safety is paramount. All dogs are assessed for their temperament and nature, and then gradually introduced onto group walks first.
If you have specific training requirements that you would like us to follow on our walks, then let us know at our ‘meet and greet’. – We always have plenty of tasty treats! All dogs must be fully up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treated. Regrettably, Paws To Doors are unable to walk females in season on group walks but we will try to accommodate them with solo walks wherever possible.
We find a maximum of 4 dogs is more suitable, as we can ensure we have our full attention on your dog. They do at times need to be on leads for parts of the walk, or getting from and to the van; so 4 is manageable for us.
We do not allow the dogs to get over excited and the walks are controlled but fun!
